AVID at  Parcells M.S.

Welcome to the AVID program at Parcells Middle School. Here you will find resources to help you succeed in the AVID program. At Parcells we believe that every student will succeed. Through using the AVID methods our goal is to provide every student with the tools they need to be successful at a 4 year university and in whatever career they may choose.

Some of the main tools and strategies used in AVID are:

- Cornell Notes

- Tutorials and Tutorial Request Forms (TRF)

- Binder for all core classes

- Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading strategies

- College research projects
